Terms of Service

1. Who we are

ProximentSelf ("the Service") is operated by Chester Investment Group LLC("Chester Investment Group", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service you are entering into a binding agreement with Chester Investment Group LLC.

2. Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing or continuing to use the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You represent that you are of legal age and, if using the Service on behalf of an organization, that you have authority to bind that organization.

3. The Service

ProximentSelf provides personal financial planning, budgeting, net-worth tracking, goal tracking, and AI-assisted insights. The Service is provided for informational and organizational purposes only and does not constitute financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You are solely responsible for decisions made based on information presented in the Service.

4. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by:

• using it for unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purposes;
• infringing intellectual property or privacy rights;
• uploading malware or attempting to interfere with the Service's security or integrity;
• scraping, probing, or reverse-engineering the Service; or
• reselling or redistributing the Service without our written consent.

6. Intellectual property

Chester Investment Group LLC retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Service, including all software, content, branding, and documentation. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose during your active subscription.

7. Payments, subscriptions, and Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, taxes, currency, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by the Paddle Checkout Buyer Terms.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until canceled. You may cancel at any time from your account settings or via paddle.net. See our Refund Policy for refund details.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated policy violations. You may stop using the Service at any time.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any AI-generated insight is accurate.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chester Investment Group LLC's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Indemnification

You will indemnify and hold harmless Chester Investment Group LLC from claims arising out of your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless required otherwise by applicable law.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
